Whirlpool HEPA Replacement Filter (1183054)
I ordered the 1183052 filter, but they sent the 1183054. I guess Whirlpool changed the number. This one works just as well. My wife and I both suffer from allergies. This filter used in the Whirlpool AP350 keeps the air in our bedroom fresh and clean. We live in the country where dust is a constant problem, and also have two small dogs that sleep in our bedroom. I don't believe the 350 is available anymore. It has been replaced with the AP450 or AP510. This air purifier keeps the air pure and clean.

Whirlpool stopped making the filter for my air purifier. I was concerned about the fit, functional quality, and durability of an aftermarket replacement product. The filter is a perfect fit, and it seems to be doing a good job. I don't have a quantitative way to compare the original filters to these. I can say they appear to be functioning identically to the originals. I don't detect any differences.
I gave this filter a 3 star rating simply because I cannot comment yet on the lifespan of the filter. It is just way too soon. Everything looks promising. If the lifespan is shorter than the original Whirlpool filter, I would not lower my rating. The longer it lasts, the higher my rating will be.
